Standard and heavy duty Augers are available in stainless steel type 304/316 and spring steel construction. Outer diameters vary from 1 to 20 inches, lengths up to 100 feet long, and cross sections include rectangular, square, bevel edge and round wire augers (or centerless spirals).
Outer Casings/Center Cores are available in UHMW-PE (Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plastic - all FDA approved material), stainless steel type 304/316 and mild steel. Outer diameters vary from 3/4 to 8-5/8 inch, and lengths up to 40 feet long.

Quick release heavy duty compression couplings with two T-handles are available in sizes that range from 2.5 inches up to 8-5/8 inches. Our standard couplings are stainless steel with food grade gaskets, however bolted style compression couplings are available in galvanized metal as well as stainless steel.
The main purpose of the compression couplings is to secure the outer casing to the boot assembly in the inlet hopper area and the drive/discharge box. These quick release coupling are handy if the conveyor must be dissassembled and clean frequently.
Some materials required a flow aid to ensure proper material flow into the auger to optimize the convey rate and the fill factor. This improves the overall performance of the conveyor. Therefore a relatively inexpensive solution is vibration. We offer both electric (115 or 230 volts, 50 or 60 cycles) and pneumatic (4 SCFM @ 60 PSIG) bin vibrators mounted and installed on the inlet hoppers with a vibrator channel and pad designed to distribute the vibration in the proper areas. Rugged construction permits either continuous opertion or repeated start and stop operation. In addition the vibrators provide noiseless operation (no more sound than a fan motor), thus making these vibrators desirable in applications where noise is irritating to workers in the immediate area.
Many customers want a conveyor that operates with minimal operator interface. One relatively low cost solution is to provide point level control in the inlet hopper and at the discharge end. The level sensors that we offer depend on the application including material characteristics, the interface with other equipment (upstream and downstream) and the customers specifications. The most common level sensor is the dependable rotary paddle design however capacitive probes, vibrating and diagram types are also readily available and use as high and/or low level sensors.
